Member Communications SpecialistThe member communications specialist is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that promote American Pastured Poultry Producers Association’s (APPPA) mission through membership in the organization. This person will communicate with member prospects, new members, existing members, conference sponsors, and partners. The communications specialist raises awareness of APPPA’s mission and programs by creating and sharing interesting, relevant, and engaging content. They will also develop innovative ways to enhance the organization's social media presence and outreach to various stakeholders. The communications specialist will have the opportunity to develop strategies that help the organization better serve members, sponsors, and partners. In addition, the communications specialist should be able to interact with members and sponsors in a friendly and professional manner. They should be able to communicate effectively through various channels such as email, phone calls, or in-person meetings. They should also be able to listen actively to members’ feedback and concerns and recommend appropriate solutions. The communications specialist will work under the direction of the APPPA Board and the Executive Director. Requirements ยท Proficiency with content creation and multi-channel communication.
