Pennsylvania Pastured Poultry Day

Join the American Pastured Poultry Producers Association at the Reiff's in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania. Stanley and Eli Reiff will graciously host producers on their multi-species farm in Central Pennsylvania.

• Marketing presentation by Mike Badger.
• Round table discussion; bring your questions and share your knowledge.
• How can we work together, better? We'll discuss whether or not there is an opportunity to set up bulk buying programs with the pastured poultry farmers in the region, and if so, what those opportunities might be.  

Lunch is included and features pasture-raised chicken and vegetables from the farm.

The theme for the day is to network, collaborate, and learn. All things Pastured Poultry goes, sourcing, production, health, nutrition, processing, marketing, and eating. 

This regional workshop is suitable for all experience levels and scales. Attendees will see a multi-species farm with a variety of pastured poultry, including geese, ducks, broilers, layers, and turkeys. 

APPPA events have become known for for their peer-to-peer learning and networking components. While there will be a pasture walk and a presentation, a large portion of the day will be large discussion. 

We not only expect you to have questions, we expect that you have insights and perspective to share. It's about building a stronger local pastured poultry community with you.
