Established in 1979, Nick's Organic Farm raises pastured chicken and turkeys, pastured eggs, and 100% grassfed Black Angus beef. We grow both heritage breeds and standard commerical breeds of chicken and turkey.

We grow our organic grains to grind into poultry feed, and we process our chickens, chicken parts, and turkeys on our farm. To build our soil, we use an 8-12 year crop rotation and cover crops, along with constantly rotating our chickens and turkeys and beef across our certified organic fields.

Visit our website to order and find out more about our farm, our other products, to order our certified organic poultry feeds, and to visit us during our annual farm tour.

Learn How to Buy Pastured Poultry

Pastured Poultry Difference

With constant access to fresh pasture, pastured poultry is better for the chickens, the land, and the people.

Pastured poultry:

  • connects you to the face behind the food.
  • turns manure into an asset that builds fields, soils and wildlife ecology.
  • imparts a deeper flavor and firmer texture.
  • reduces the need for antibiotics, medications, and coccidiastats.
  • harnesses the good things about nature.
  • empowers local and rural economies.
